Dragging people across terrain is very hard – especially without dedicated tools integrated into a combat loadout. This item is the answer!

• Transfers drag forces to the casualty’s hips instead of the neck or chest – prevents plate carrier impact to the face and avoids airway compression
• Deploys to a long working length so the rescuer can remain upright, reducing fatigue and maintaining situational awareness
• Mounts directly to the LV-119 Rear Plate Bag (and most other MOLLE platforms) and deploys in seconds with a single pull

Features

The Recovery Handle Mk2 is a robust system that allows teams to move casualties as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible without adding the excess weight and bulk of, for example, a full stretcher (which is usually neither practical nor feasible).

Hip-Load Transfer

Unlike many drag systems that pull on the torso, the Recovery Handle Mk2 routes the load to the casualty’s hips (by attaching the strap to the pants belt as instructed; see the video). The result is a safer drag that reduces the risk of facial impact and airway obstruction.

Note: The use of a proper carabiner is advised – this is not included in the package. See the accompanying video for a demonstration of the system.

Operator Ergonomics

The long deployable strap allows the operator to remain upright while dragging, reducing fatigue and maintaining situational awareness.

Fast, Clean Mounting

The handle mounts directly to the LV-119 Rear Plate Bag and most other MOLLE platforms. Excess webbing is retained internally to prevent snags and keep the system neat when stowed.

Repackable for Training

The system is easy to repack between uses, making it ideal for repetitive training drills and rapid resets during exercises.
