Spiritus Systems Expander Wing Mk-2

A new, improved version of the Micro Fight Expander Wing. The Mk-2 is completely reversible and can be used on either side without any reduction in functionality or storage capacity. The package contains one wing. If you want a set, add TWO to the cart.

Versatile attachment options

The wing attaches to a Micro Fight Chassis or 556 Placard with a hook-and-loop flap and can be mounted for increased storage capacity on a chest rig or under the Cummerbund of an LV-119. It hugs the body, reducing its signature and holding items securely in place.

Wings used for chest rigs are mounted to the soft loop field on the backside of the Micro Fight Chest Rig. They also utilize a unique loop-over design that attaches to your Fat Straps, ensuring a comfortable and stable attachment that will not sag even with heavy items placed inside.

When used with plate carriers, the Mk-2 can integrate with both hook-and-loop and TUBES cummerbunds. Thanks to a TUBES bar pass-through, you can attach or detach the cummerbund without removing the expander wing.

Adjustable pocket for magazines or radios

The wing features a pocket that accommodates most small & medium caliber rifle magazines, as well as a variety of radio platforms, including the MPU5, 152, and 163, and smaller units like the Motorola XTS 5000. 
The base pocket depth is 15 cm (6"). However, the adjustable internal retention strap can be lengthened or shortened to create the perfect pocket depth for your items. The top features double eyelets and a bungee retention kit to hold the radios and magazines securely in place.
