Materials

Neckband: polyethylene, stainless spring steel, plastic. Padding and damping material: PVC film and TPU foam. Waterproof and dustproof: IP67 (Not designed for synchronized swimming or other underwater use). Conforms to the CE EN352-1-, EN352-4- ja EN352-6-standards. Maximum official service life as a protector: 10 years.

Note: the cushions are made of TPU foam. A gel cushion set isalso available.

The Sordin Supremes are low-profile electronic earmuffs for hunting, shooting, and demanding professional use. The waterproof circuit boards, microphones, and battery compartment ensure reliable operation in the most demanding conditions. The neckband makes these more comfortable with helmets and other headgear. These fit quite nicely under the Särmä TST boonie hat.

Sordin Supreme series is developed for demanding professional and hobbyist use. Waterproof microphones on both sides reproduce ambient sounds. The black neckband and dark green cups don’t reveal your location to your enemies too easily.

What’s with the price? The electronics in these have been reinforced with additional polymer layers for enhanced waterproofing and RFI shielding. The MIL-series earmuffs have specs and testing according to MIL-STD-810H and EMC-MIL-STD-461G military standards. If you go to war wearing Sordins, these are the ones.

Features

With electronic hearing protectors, you can hear the discussion, warning signals, approaching cars, and other important sounds clearly but your hearing is protected from dangerously loud noises. If necessary they also amplify weak noises, so you can e.g. hear the dog barking and your enemies whisper further away than you would with your own ears. Thanks to the low-profile design, these can also be used under a ballistic helmet. The controls can be adjusted with gloves on as well.

Switches the power off automatically (with a warning signal) after four hours of not pressing any buttons. The device informs you about low battery life when there is c. 40 hours of battery life left. The AUX input enables you to connect external devices, such as hunting radios, other communication devices, MP3 players, etc. to the earmuffs. The package comes with a cord that has a 3.5 mm jack. Nicely packable for easy transportation.
