If you have a spirit burner, use this. It Burns cleanly enough for indoor use too. The point in using high-quality fuel is that cooking with this does not smell that bad.

There are two popular products for spirit burner fuel, both made by the same factory. Sinol is a bit cheaper and has a bit more energy per bottle, but gives out more soot and tastes very bad. Marinol does not make that much soot and the taste is still bad, but a bit milder. You still can't drink this, but if you spill some on your fingers, it's not quite the catastrophe as it is with Sinol.

Note: this is essentially denatured alcohol, the kind you don't want to drink. If, however, the temptation takes the better of you, seek medical aid immediately and show the bottle to the doctor. Should be a no-brainer, but keep this bottle away from children.
