How do I impregnate shoes correctly?

Regular re-impregnation is recommended to extend the overall service life of your shoes. First, clean the shoes with a brush. If there’s stubborn dirt, use a mild, lukewarm soap solution and let the shoes dry.

Apply the spray generously from a distance of about 30 cm (12"). The goal is to let the upper “soak up” the impregnation so the care substances can penetrate the material. Let it work for around 15 minutes before the next round. You can repeat this up to three times. If you’re treating smooth leather, you can apply additional smooth leather care afterwards.

How often do I have to impregnate my shoes?

With regular use, treating your shoes every 4–8 weeks is usually enough. Re-impregnate sooner if the shoes have been thoroughly wet.

How long do I have to wait after impregnating?

Allow the shoes to rest for about 24 hours after impregnation so the care substances can take full effect.
