Operating Modes

MCH Duty is programmable according to the user's preferences. The flashlight is shipped from the factory in mode 1, but it also has 4 other modes that you can select according to your needs.

  • Mode 1: High only (100%)
  • Mode 2: Low (10%), high (100%)
  • Mode 3: High (100%), low (10%)
  • Mode 4: Very low (5%), medium (30%), high (100%)
  • Mode 5: High (100%), medium (30%), very low (5%)

Programming is easy – watch the instructional video to get the gist of it. In short: tap the button repeatedly to get into the mode selector. Then tap twice to get to the next mode. Do this until you reach your preferred mode, and wait a few seconds. Done.

The full name of this flashlight model is MCH-Duty-HO-DF – those letters at the end stand for High-Output Dual Fuel. These words, in turn, mean that the flashlight's lumens are maxed out, and you can use disposable batteries in addition to a rechargeable battery.

Features

The MCH Duty's body is made of A6061-T6 aluminum with HAIII hard-anodized finish, and the flashlight bezel ring is made of S7 tool steel.

Negligent discharge protection

The flashlight comes with three different adjustment rings that can be screwed around the flashlight's operating button. These allow you to customize a button guard tailored to your needs to prevent accidental activation. For example, if you carry the flashlight in your pocket, you might inadvertently press the button and turn on the light. Installing a suitable ring makes such a situation unlikely.
