A lightweight and versatile back panel for your plate carrier! This zip-on panel attaches to your Velocity Systems SCARAB LT plate carrier or a suitable MOLLE/PALS panel – it has both side-zippers and attachment loops for PALS webbing. Various sizes and colors available.
This sort of back panel carries your mission critical items, when a larger backpack is not needed or carrying it would be impractical mission-wise. You might put a 3-liter water bladder, magazines, frags & smokes, food, electronics, and a thermal jacket in this thing.

The back panels come in Medium and Large sizes. These work best with the SCARAB LT plate carrier of a corresponding size. Different-sized panels and plate carriers can also be connected, especially with the PALS connection.

The main compartment opens from the top and sides by a two-way zipper. The flap opening has an elastic coupling to the back panel, which prevents the flap from accidentally falling open and stuff flying out while opening the compartment. The main compartment has an inner sleeve for a 3-liter or smaller water reservoir, and an adjacent mesh sleeve for an A4 sheet sized (11.7" x 8.3") flat object. The top of the back panel has a port for a hydration tube.
The main compartment flap opening has a zippered pocket. The opening’s upper part has a 10 x 15 cm (4" x 6") Velcro loop base and one row of PALS webbing with four columns beneath it.
