A high-quality American load-bearing harness that consists of shoulder pads, a hip belt, and tons of PALS webbing all around. This is the perfect foundation of a recce belt kit and pretty hot stuff in certain circles. Unused US military surplus, so quite a sweet deal.
Eagle Industries is a well known manufacturer of MOLLE gear for the US military. Their H harness has seen a lot of action in many parts of the world. This is a very comfortable harness that spreads the load around your hips instead of the shoulders, allowing for an easy use of an assault pack. It is very well suited for hot weather environments, with or without armor underneath.
The shoulder harness has eight points of adjustment, and there are more on the belt. This means that it fits most users and distributes the weight of your gear very well when properly adjusted.
The hip belt has three rows of PALS webbing all around, enabling you to attach craploads of pouches, and giving you a very easily configurable base to customize your setup. The padded H harness has two rows of PALS webbing on each strap to route cables and hydration or to attach more pouches. And the back is made with a breathable mesh to give you much more airflow on those hot days.
The harness weighs c. 1 150 g (2.5 lbs) on its own without any additional gear. It is made from heavy-duty khaki-colored nylon webbing & adjustment straps. Yes, looks quite greenish but it is khaki nevertheless. The buckles and hardware are coyote tan. NSN: 8465-01-573-9661.
Unissued US military surplus made in the USA by Eagle Industries. The company was born from the uncompromising demands of the Navy SEAL community, and those standards still drive everything they do. All their gear is made in America.
