Product description

Black leather gloves of the US armed forces. What else needs to be said other than they are darn high quality gloves for any everyday glove needs. Used but intact. Made for proper use, not to pair with your fancy suits.

Features

The model number of these is M-1949. Don't be fooled by the year, these were used until the beginning of this millennium. In Vietnam they were used by some special forces members, but with the glove fingers cut off. These are well made basic leather gloves with an adjustable wrist strap. They can be used alone or with wool liners underneath. The wool liners are not included, but you can get our own Särmä Merino gloves for this purpose if needed.

Sizing

These come in the US army glove size system but we added the simple size after it. If you pick the size you usually wear, you'll have room for a pair of wool knit liner gloves underneath! If you're not planning on wearing anything under these and like a snug fit, get a size smaller.

Condition

Used US military surplus. Some have seen a bit more and some a bit less use but all are in serviceable condition. The white powder is talc, and it washes off easily.

Been using these on and off for the last 20 years. Well worth it especially at this price. They're perfect for farm/garden/heavy equipment work. A little but about the sizing. These are "baggy" for lack of a better term. Which is good for using glove liners in cold environments. Beware though, if the liner is too thick and you cram your fingers into the glove tightly, your fingers will freeze. These are actual surplus as well. There are many imitations available. Stay away from those. I've made that mistake and the quality is awful.
