Sioen Ballistics RESTAC Plate Carrier, NIJ IIIA

Created to fit the needs of Finnish reservists, the lightweight and modular RESTAC series plate carrier comes with NIJ IIIA-level soft inserts. If you want a plate carrier that’s ready to go straight out of the box, this is it. Comes in M05 woodland, the best camo in the world.

The Sioen Ballistics RESTAC plate carrier is based on the same company's Tacticum plate carrier. It's also functionally and visually quite similar to the M17 model used by the Finnish Defence Forces, the main difference being the absence of attachment points for the separate backpack panel. The same applies to the Tacticum's two zipper-attached panels, that have also been left out.

This carrier is highly customizable, thanks to the extensive PALS webbing. Additionally, the protection level and coverage can be expanded with separately purchased protector add-ons and RESTAC series hard plates. All protective elements, including the soft inserts, can be easily removed when necessary, allowing you to adjust the carrier to fit the demands of the mission.

Made by Sioen Ballistics The Tacticum series of body armor was originally developed and produced by Verseidag Ballistic Protection (one of Finland's leading producers of ballistic equipment and a huge supplier of the Finnish defense forces). In 2017 Belgium based Sioen purchased Verseidag, the gear is still the same only under another name.
