The pack itself is really nice. It has great potential, even though it has no extras, it is just simple, sturdy and compact. Space is not the biggest, but that's ok, because a surprising amount fits in it and on it. The idea of small daypacks is precisely not to fill up all the storage with all the extras (you know the "nice to haves", "just in case" and "why nots"), but have the essentials close at hand in a durable, small package, with a bit of extra space left for stuff picked up on the go. The pack can be mounted onto pretty much anything you want, just be creative. For those who want to add their own straps, shoulder straps and slings can be diy-ed from old shoulder straps and slings with ladder locks or g-hooks, or made entirely out of paracord. The pack lacks a handle, other than the roll-top buckle closure, but a paracord one could be made and attached to the d-rings at the top of the back of the pack. Kind of an FDF M85 "varustepussi" with some nice upgrades, but the M85, being rounder, seemed size-wise quite a bit larger. The flat back is nice, but it does eat away at potential extra space. Some online have mentioned that a 15L version with a slightly more rectangular bottom would make packing it a tad easier. One can of course also just stuff it, but I would be inclined to agree with that observation. The pack can handle serious weight and is great for edc use. I like the roll-top design better than zippers. It may be simple, but it works really well. I turned a drop-leg pouch into a beavertail with bungee cords for extra storage.
