Durable cargo shorts with a functional cut and clever, sturdy details. Made in the EU from recycled and organic materials. If you want to buy just one pair of shorts for active outdoor use and want to support European textile production, here’s a pretty great alternative.
Or would you like a pair of mil-spec camo shorts that are NIR-compliant? We have those, too.
Features
As the name might indicate, these are heavily influenced by our popular Field Pant; our improved version of the pants used by the Finnish Army. The tough ripstop fabric, strong seams, and action-friendly cut ensure you can use these in all outdoor adventures, from hiking to tactical use. And they don’t look stupid in everyday use either.
The Field shorts come with a high-quality Kroko-zippered fly. Furthermore, there is a Canadian-style slotted button at the top, which is not fastened with a few flimsy stitches but a tougher fabric band. They also feature a diamond gusset crotch that enables you to perform more ninjaesque moves without ripping your bum.
Thanks to numerous pockets, you won’t easly run out of cargo space. These shorts have two spacious front pockets that feature extra pockets for keys, the cell phone, etc. Moreover, they have large cargo pockets with a velcro & button closure. The buttons are covered to prevent them from grabbing onto things.
If you like to haul heavy stuff on your belt or pockets or prefer shorts that won’t hang halfway down your butt, these are a solid choice. The 40 mm (1.6") wide elastic adjustment will ensure a more snug fit than a thin rubber band. It is easily detachable for washing or replacing. Washing is the main enemy of elastic bands, so easy removal prolongs the service life a lot.
Furthermore, the shorts feature belt loops for a max. 45 mm (1.75") belt, so you can use either adjustment option or both if you want to carry more stuff without shorts sagging.
These are made in the EU in Poland. They are manufactured by Unifeq, a company that makes high-quality clothing and gear for numerous European military forces and law enforcement agencies. European production is more expensive than Asian one, but it has many benefits, such as the security of supply, faster deliveries, lower transportation emissions, and more transparent and ethical production.
