A gray, thin, wide scarf. The kind that packs small and is good for most of the year. Old army surplus from the dark side of the Berlin Wall!
Packs small enough to fit into a pocket. Made probably of a blend of wool and polyester. We recommend taking care when washing - it's probably best done with wool wash in 30 or 40 degrees Celsius (86 or 104 F). Hang dry. If you take your chances and boil this with some "Final Solution" cycle, it'll probably still be OK for your hamster.
The colour shades vary a bit, but all are happy gray. If there wouldn't be a photo of this variation, you'd never know. We won't pick.
According to our supplier these are East German, and they're probably right. No markings on the scarves however. The condition seems overall very good.
