We managed to find a one-off batch of Nokian rubber boots forgotten in some Estonian military warehouse. This is the Nokian Kaira but without the detachable felt lining. For some reason, these high-quality boots never saw any use, but some of these have been stored in a bit careless manner. That's why we don't sell them as unissued. However, none of this will affect usability.
Nokian Kaira is a long-shaft rubber boot for demanding work use, military reservist activities, hunting, and forest skiing. If you acquire the felt lining, you can use these for ice fishing and other cold winter use. An extra reinforcement has been added to the toe part. The boot has a built-in groove for cross-country ski bindings. The outsole offers good grip on all terrains, and it can be studded. These are very spacious and fit wider feet, thick socks, and warm winter pants well. The adjustable collar keeps out snow and debris.
These are technically unissued Estonian army surplus, but some have been stored in a special way. Due to this, some are in near-mint condition, but some can have dust and other warehouse dirt, and the inner lining may have turned a bit yellowish. Some of these have also been stored in a pile, which means that the bootleg might also be a bit floppy. There can also be a distinctive smell of surplus on these. However, none of these will affect usability. Nevertheless, we sell these as regular surplus and not as unissued.
