Our treasure hunters found a one-off batch of these military-inspired hooded winter coats with a teddy bear lining. This coat is more suited for drug-related undercover operations and pure civilian use rather than military use, but it is made from tough fabric and it is warm, which is all you need in winter. And the price ain’t bad either because these are completely unused. Winter is always coming. Get ready before it’s too late.

The surplus we usually sell is more military in nature. However, sometimes we also find stuff made for the civilian market. These coats come from the stocks of a company that terminated its business. The main fabric is thick cotton, and it has a fixed teddy bear lining right up to the hood. The coat is already warm on its own, and it can be made even warmer since it is pretty roomy and fits a thick mid-layer.
The cut is maybe a bit East Germanish, and the zipper is that familiar buzzsaw from childhood that wants to eat your fingers if you aren’t careful. However, you will get used to the zipper, and everybody looks like a marshmallow man in winter anyway. All you need is warmth.
The faded color might make some folks think that these are used but this isn’t the case. it is caused by apparently a fashionable treatment that the manufacturer calls "Vintage Wash". If you need to work undercover on the skid row, this is the coat you need.
The manufacturer is a Finnish company, but the manufacturing country isn’t mentioned, so it is probably somewhere in the Far East.
Condition
Unused civilian surplus. Many of these are still in the original plastic wrapping. A pretty decent find for this price.
