Product description
Turn your Jetboil stoves or cup into a French Press coffee maker! The shaft unscrews to pack neatly into the stove. With this coffee piston, you get better coffee than with a regular drip-filter technique.
Here's how to make a damn good cup of coffee
Best results come with a coarser grind than your average filter-ground coffee. Measure as usual. If you don't know what "usual" is, try 30 g of coffee per 500 ml of water.
- Heat the water to just below boiling point
- Put in the coffee, stir a bit, put the lid on and wait for 4-5 minutes
- Insert the coffee press into the can, push the coffee gradually to the bottom of the can and leave it be
- Consume immediately

Since I carried the jetboil anyway, The Coffee Press is in nice way to go. It was a choice between carrying this, or carrying an Aeropress coffee press. Since I don't want to carry a bunch of additional pieces in my kit, I just carry this inside the jetboil. The filter part fits in the jetboil cup underneath the jetboil, and the handle breaks apart into two pieces and fits inside the jetboil. If you are a coffee fanatic as I am, you'll see the benefit of this. The filter just washes off with water. Lastly, the trick to this is grinding your beans before you go out to the field. Otherwise we'll have to carry a coffee grinder as well.
