Need to drag heavy gear from home to the range and back home again? Or somewhere else? A garbage bag is less than ideal and our Bag Beer Bag is a tad too small. So we came up with Jämä Cube Bag: a simple, yet strong, cubical bag made of surplus fabric. It’s easy to move your stuff around in this. It’s also damn stylish thanks to the fashionable Finnish army M05 camouflage pattern!
Our shooting enthusiasts saw a need for a bag to carry all sorts of heavy gear to and from the range. The bag had to be strong enough to hold a heavy load and be easy to use. From an idea to the drawing board; and thus, the Jämä Cube Bag came to be!
Besides allowing you to drag your gear around nicely, the Cube Bag can keep the other parties at your home happy too. It fits perfectly into an Ikea Kallax shelf unit. So, you can keep your equipment neatly tucked into the shelf instead of piling them up in front of the front door of your house. (Of course, keep the guns and ammo where they should be according to your legislation.)
Astonishingly enough, not all of us are gun enthusiasts. Luckily, there is no law against using this bag for other stuff as well. In fact, the Cube Bag works extremely well as a storage basket. It is so well made and durable that we can even recommend it for moving or as a carrier for your ultimate doomsday survival kit.
The bag has handles on both sides and a Velcro patch for attaching, e.g. a name tag - so that others know to keep their hands off your stuff!
We recommend that you restrain yourself from packing more than 60 kg (132 lbs) of stuff in the bag at once. In fact, it'll be healthier for yourself to keep it a lot lighter than the maximum load allowed by the bag.
Made of a B-quality Foxdura 500D fabric with the M05 Woodland camo pattern. In this case, the B-quality means that the camo print may have some minor faults here and there, but functionally it is of premium quality.
The carrying straps are made of a PES strap that meets the requirements of the Finnish army. It has a tensile strength of 1,200 daN, so, it can take quite rough use.
The walls have 4 mm (0.16”) thick cell foam in them, therefore the bag holds its shape quite nicely. You can fold the bag to store it but remember to tie it down or else it will spring right back to its original form.
