Olive green US military radio bag that fits the radio and ple. The front panel has a hard plastic stiffener so you can store anything in it that you wish to remain in one piece. You can also attach it to a suitable pack. Very nicely used military surplus.
This handheld accessory bag has two compartments on the outside plus a small accessory pouch and a long flat pocket inside. The main compartment has a double-buckle closure and the smaller outer compartment a single buckle. The small accessory pouch on the inside also has a single buckle but the flat pocket is open. The latter is possibly meant for the antenna but it can easily also fit e.g. a Skrama 240. There are drainage grommets in all the other compartments except the flat antenna pocket.
There is a plastic stiffener sewn into the front panel of the pouch. On the backside, you can find a triangular plastic buckle and two MOLLE/PALS fasteners. Underneath those, there is 3 x 2 webbing. Made from heavy-duty Olive Drab Nylon.
The measurements of the main compartment are 41 x 14 x 11 cm (16.1" x 5.5" x 4.3"). The measurements of the smaller compartment are 25 x 9 x 9 cm (9.8" x 3.5" x 3.5"). The weight of the whole thing when empty is 415 grams (0.91 lbs).
Very nicely used US military surplus. At least some of these appear unused and come in plastic packaging. These do have the fruity pukey bouquet typical of US milsurp but you can get rid of it by airing these out. These were made by the American Harris Corporation, to be precise, their RF Communications division. Nowadays the company is known as L3Harris Technologies.
