The archetypal, often copied but never surpassed, benchmark of bipods from Harris Bipods. This model has smooth legs with a height range between 15 - 23 cm (6" - 9"), and it comes with a swiveling function.
Height-wise, this bipod is the lowest one available, and it's most suitable for bolt-action rifles and others without a tall magazine, off the bench or from a low prone position.
The bipod attaches to an ordinary sling swivel stud and folds forward out of the way when not in use. When deployed, the legs allow leaning into the rifle for better recoil management and a consistent point of impact.
The smooth legs of this bipod have to be pulled out. Adjustments are made by loosening the screw, and pulling the leg to the desired length, and then re-tightening the screw. The legs also lock to full extension.
This bipod has a spring-assisted swivel mechanism to adjust the rifle’s sideways tilt. The stiffness of the swivel action can be adjusted by a screw on the backside of the bipod. If you tighten it all the way, the rifle will stay put and not tilt at all.
