Proper camouflage gear can sometimes be a hard item to sell, because they are not meant to make the wearer look cool or be drippin’ or whatever – but to look like nothing. If, from a distance, you look like someone with a cool ghillie on them, you have failed. And in an extreme situation, you’re probably dead, too. The purpose of a camouflage suit or a ghillie is to break up your human bodily pattern and blend you in the surrounding colors and vegetation. This is what makes you harder to spot. Remember though, whatever high tech, top shelf shit you might be wearing, movement is what will get you noticed. There is no invisibility cloak. Period.
Features
The Ghost-Hoodie is a great choice for any situation with a lot of movement and nasty weather conditions. It is light and breathable, packs into a small pouch, and will not get soaked. The poncho-style hoodie is roomy, and you can wear it over your gear – helmet and daypack included. It can be taken off as easily; just yank it off, and stuff it back where it came from.
- The hoodie has sleeves and a hood; the hood can be pulled up to show your face or pulled down – then a mesh-covered slit will hide your eyes
- The chest area has an opening for e.g. an optic, when crouched or prone
- Lots of fabric loops around the hoodie to attach natural vegetation or other additional camouflage material
