This luxury mosquito bunker shows that French soldiers have it really good. This framed version doesn’t tickle your face like a ghost, it has enough pockets for wine, cheese, and crackers, and the waterproof floor keeps you dry and the creepy crawlies away even when you don’t have a field cot.
Features
The official name of this glamper’s dream is Ferrino Moustiqaire Igloo Impregnee. It is a freestanding mosquito shelter for one combatant, which is assembled like a dome tent. It is designed to be used on top of a field cot, but it works perfectly on the ground with a tarp and without one on the balcony or porch.
However, we cannot guarantee that all of these have the patches. They might have been used or lost.
This mosquito shelter has a zipper on one side, which opens the whole side. So, you don’t have to squeeze inside huffing, puffing, and cursing like a Finnish lumberjack. One end has one pocket, and one side has two pockets for your headlamp, phone, whisky bottle, sidearm, and whatever else you might need while sleeping.
The waterproof floor continues a little bit upward, which prevents ticks and other bugs from getting to you that easily. The bottom edges have velcro loops for fastening the shelter to the field cot.
Note! These might have some kind of an anti-insect treatment. If yours has, it is most likely out of oomph by now. Nevertheless, don’t use it as a cat bed or dump it in a natural body of water.
Condition
Used French military surplus. These can have small stains, surplus sand, and other signs of use. We have taken such into account in the price. In other words, these are dirt cheap for the quality .
