The glorious Leader of the Best Korea has many nasty Globalist enemies and needs tremendous weapons to defend his people. This beautiful morale patch proves that he has billions and billions of rounds of ammo to deal with all of them.
What’s this all about?
This Forgotten Weapons morale patch features the North Korean leader holding the Type 88 assault rifle with a helical drum magazine. Like most Communist countries, North Korea manufactures its own versions of Russian assault rifles: the Type 58 (AK-47), Type 68 (AKM), and the latest Type 88, which is a copy of the AK-74. Type 88 is usually seen with 30-round mags. However, from 2010 onward, they have also been photographed with a peculiar helical magazine.
These helical magazines are estimated to carry between 100 and 150 rounds. More firepower is always better, at least in theory. However, the complexity of these magazines may make them more prone to malfunctions and misfires. And they are certainly heavy. This kind of 100-round magazine probably weighs something like 2 kg (4.5 lbs).
Of course, there is also the North Korean propaganda factor to consider. Does the magazine even work, or is it just a few beer cans taped together? That remains a mystery.
