Damn smart and sturdy black cargo pants with very versatile pockets. If you need something durable around your legs that can fit lots of stuff but won’t get you indebted to smartly dressed Italian businessmen, this is it. The pants come in nice bright and vibrant black, which is the only color for many.
These pants have sturdy belt loops for a max. 55 mm (2.2”) belt as well as a zippered fly with a single top button. There is a flexible D ring underneath a left front belt loop for attaching for example keys. Two spacious side pockets and a smaller zippered pocket next to the left side pocket e.g. for the afore-mentioned keys.
There are hook and loop cargo pockets on both sides. On top of the left cargo pocket, there are two narrow open pockets for pens and such. And below it, there is a small hook and loop pocket. The right side doesn’t have the pen pockets but there is a zippered pocket under the cargo pocket, which is a bit larger than the one on the other leg. Additionally, there are two back pockets.
Furthermore, these pants feature peculiar “weapon pockets” next to both side pockets that have most likely been designed at some Amsterdam coffee shop. On most of the pants, they are sewn shut. Open the seam carefully without ripping the fabric to bits and they are fully operational and waiting to be armed. If this sounds like a complicated surgical operation, there are instructions with pictures on the care label (provided that there is a care label).
Our expert opinion is that these are best used with a Dutch “Chiquita” service pistol but we still recommend a fair trade version. Because the caliber and barrel length of these pistols vary, you should try them out beforehand. Another possible setup is a pair of large cross-draw dildos. maybe even a more conventional baton when storing temporarily.
The fabric on at least some of the pants is 65% polyester and 35% cotton but it is possible that there are pants by different manufacturers here. They are all most likely polycotton but the percentages might vary a bit. Wash at 60 degrees Celsius (140 F) with similarly colored laundry.
These are in normal Euro sizes and they also have the leg length in centimeters. We have also added the “easy” size in brackets.
Dutch military surplus but in very nice condition. These haven’t most likely been worn by a very hard-working man, more likely someone hardly working or none at all. There can of course be some minor stains and frilly little things on some of these but they are still all perfectly usable.
