A mid-sized general-purpose pouch in the woodland camo pattern. Not only is the Dutch modular system good, but the bits and pieces are also damn cheap. Affordability doesn’t mean crap in this case because these are proper good military surplus built to last.
The pouches are undivided on the inside. The mouth has a sock with a drawcord to keep your stuff inside and the dirt out. There is also a drain grommet at the bottom. In addition to the visible closure, the pouch has an additional hook and loop closure in case you are in too much of a hurry to fiddle with the buckle. The hook side can be covered to disable it for silent ninja operations.
The pouch can be attached to anything with the MOLLE/PALS webbing, packs, vests, tactical mini skirts, you name it. This system is in use all over the world, lo and behold, even here in Finland. If you want, you can also use these on regular belts.
Made from Woodland camouflage-patterned polyamide that is coated with water-resistant polyurethane. However, since there can be pouches of various manufacturing years here, the materials can vary to some extent. They should be pretty similar in properties in any case.
Inner dimensions c. 14 x 17 x 9 cm (5.5" x 6.7" x 3.5"). Thanks to the drawcord mouth and the adjustable buckle, you can overpack these a bit if needed.
Surprisingly little used and not at all abused Dutch military surplus. These appear to be in very nice condition, so here you have an affordable pouch that will keep you happy for a long time. Or at least no crappy pouch will block your path to happiness.
