If you want Wehrmacht-style suspenders, these old Czechoslovakian ones look identical to the German WWII ones. Even if you aren’t interested in military history, these are an affordable alternative for folks who like old button suspenders.
The length of these suspenders (or braces if you learned the Queen’s English) can vary a bit but it is such that it should fit most adults with proper high-waist pants. And we mean high, not those half-assed low cuts. The loops are made of fabric, which means that they can slide off if your pants have tiny buttons with rounded corners. However, you can sew the loops smaller, so the problem isn’t overwhelming. Or switch to bigger buttons.
Czechoslovakian military surplus. Some of these seem to come in the original packaging. However, because all of them have been stored for a long time and the original packaging is basically just a paper band around them, they can have some warehouse dust, faded colors, and such. Thus, consider all of these somewhat used. Some are elastic, some might not be. We cannot unfortunately start sorting them out because then you’d never get any of your packages. If you want pristine suspenders with no surprises, buy new ones. We have those, too.
