<h2>Torrent Mount Selection</h2>


<h3> M-LOK Inline</h3>

<p>Directly attaches to any M-LOK rail surface. 4 light mounting positions provide .265" / 6.7 mm of lateral adjustment on the mount. Forward mounting design is low profile, lightweight, and does not impede weapons manipulation. This mount does not interfere with the operation of front back-up iron sights.</p>

<p>The M-LOK Inline light mount is a traditional mount. Instead of requiring a Picatinny rail section (or such) to be added to your M-LOK rail, you can use this mount as a direct mounting option. This mount should be attached in a way that it does not have any portion hanging off the rail. If it hangs off the rail, it does run a risk of being bent under pressure. The Inline mount plays well with most IR devices including the B.E. Meyers MAWL, L3 PEQ-15, L3 NGAL, Steiner DBAL, and many others. Weight 0.711 oz. / 20 g.</p>

<h3> M-LOK Offset</h3>

<p>For use with M-LOK rails. 6 light mounting positions provide .626" / 15.9 mm of lateral adjustment to clear all laser aiming devices. Positions the light as close to the firearm bore or ATPIAL as possible. Light mount does not interfere with the operation of front back-up iron sights.</p>

<p>This mount is normally attached to the rail at the 3 or 9 o’clock position and holds the light around the 1:30 and 10:30 positions, respectively. There are unique mounting options with this that make it a possibility for use with the previously mentioned IR devices as well. Weight 0.653 oz. / 19 g.</p>

<h3>M-LOK AFR</h3>

<p>The Torrent Africa mount is a specialized solution developed by Cloud Defensive and Impact Weapons Components. It is a specialized offset mount that plays nicely with their FAL handguards. It also works great for the SCAR, MCX, MPX, AK, Scorpion and pretty much any other non-AR platform.</p>

<p>The AFR is quite similar to the M-LOK Offset mount, but the AFR has only 3 mounting positions on the mount whereas the Offset mount has 6 positions.</p>

<p>The Torrent Africa mount also works great for AR rifles that incorporate a BE Meyers MAWL. The user can mount the Torrent Africa at the 4:30 PM position on the rail and roll their weapon mounted light nicely underneath that MAWL. Weight 0.6 oz. / 17 g.</p>


<h3>Picatinny SBR</h3>

<p>For use with Picatinny rails such as in quad rail handguards, especially for short-barreled rifles. 3 light mounting positions provide .250" / 6.4 mm of lateral adjustment on the mount. Cantilevered mounting design shifts light forward of mount, increasing usable rail space. Light offset optimized at a 45 degree offset for ergonomic activation. Positions the light as close to the firearm as possible, and the mount does not interfere with the operation of front back-up iron sights.</p>

<p>You can run this mount on the top rail, hanging to the left or right of the rail. You can also run this on either side rail pushing the light up and in towards the barrel. Weight 1.011 oz. / 29 g.</p>

<h2>Installation</h2>

<p></p><p>The package includes the necessary screws. However, you will need the following tools: 3/32" and 1/8" hex keys. It is also recommended to use medium strength/normal thread locker (Loctite or such) with certain screws.</p>
