The German is a cunning creature. Along with the folding sleeping mat, they developed a separate, one-person-sized waterproof floor to accompany it. Durable yet thin, this will keep you dry even if you roll off your kip mat.
Made from some proper tough rubber material with ripstop reinforcing. Takes a beating and being stomped on. Works well as a ground mat for smaller tents; get two if you need more cover.

Get a couple when they are in Stock! I bought one, liked it so much I ordered 3 more. Tough ground sheet to put under your one man tent, or you can spread out two for a two man tent. I have used it under my sleeping pad before and it works just fine, but I usually have the Savotta FDF Sleeping pad for inside the tent.

Ordered 2, they came in unissued condition. Excellent ground tarp, perfect size for my single person tent, surprisingly light for how sturdy it is. I wrap mine around my tent bag and have it in the bottom straps of my pack.
