Service shirt for warm weather, or as a lower layer under a field jacket. A comfortable alternative for summer use!

The Soldier 95 clothing system was a definite improvement over the previous models. This here is the basic combat uniform shirt for warm weather. We put emphasis on the word 'combat'; these are designed for field use, not the parade ground. This also means it's pretty damn practical for everyday use!

The jacket is lightweight, as it is designed for warm weather, with two breast pockets and usually a sleeve pocket. Very simple. The cotton-rich material is just as comfortable as that of the trousers.

Size info

Sizes in the Brit system; first up is user's recommended height, then chest circumference. If you fall between sizes, pick the larger one, or you get a tight fit.

Condition

In used but serviceable condition. Might have an occasional well made repair or faded fabric but presentable in any case.

Shirt has been washed a lot of times, but is in otherwise perfect condition. No flashes, but it came with a name tape, which is pretty cool. I am 6’ 1” with approximately 45” chest and the 180/104 fits like a dream. British stuff is always sized so big. I would call this an almost exact (DPM) version of the German Flecktarn shirt. Same thickness, more or less, zipper and buttons to close it up. It is definitely thicker than the desert version of the British shirt, which makes sense, I guess. Will get a lot of wear out of this for sure. I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention the cool Varusteleka customer service. I ordered this at the end of March, only a couple days before Posti stopped shipping to Canada. So, it was stuck in Finnish customs for what would have been who knows how long. I asked Varusteleka what would happen and they said, “yeah, it will probably come back to us eventually, but in the meantime, how about we ship the exact same stuff to you via DHL, the difference in postage is in us!” I couldn’t be more impressed — some people still know what customer service means. Kiitos!

Best bloody shirt you can buy!! Great in all weather!! Most buy I got mine with a para unit patch which was a awesome surprise. Fictional and looks great. Great in up to 25 degrees weather, and warm into 5 degree (Celsius). Comfortable enough to wear as pjs.
