This insulated pouch from Baribal is specifically made for a 1-liter Nalgene bottle. The size is also suitable for longer objects that have some bulk to them.
A 3 mm layer of aluminum reflective foam insulates the contents against temperature changes and protects from minor knocks. Despite the insulation, this pouch is actually a bit larger on the inside compared to the non-insulated Cargo Pouch: It's large enough to carry an EF 70-200mm f/2:8 lens (w.o. lens hood) with the tripod mount ring attached!
Made from 1000D Cordura, features a YKK zipper with a silent Paracord puller. Also has loop bases around and on the top for patches. Mil-Spec NIR properties. The color is a bit greener than Ranger Green but less saturated than Olive Drab. See the comparison picture.
The PALS straps in the back can be weaved to form a 50 mm loop for use on a non-PALS combat belt. Also, the five D-rings around the rear panel allow carrying on a sling or using various attachment methods to secure the pouch to your backpack, e.g. a rock or something.
