Technical details and instructions

This hoodie is made from recycled cotton and recycled plastic bottles, 60% recycled cotton and 40% recycled polyester. The fabric is a soft brushed knit on the inside. It features raglan sleeves, a straight cut, and a long fit. The generously sized hood has drawstrings made from surplus yarn left over from the knitting process to reduce waste. The hem and cuffs are ribbed.

Manufacturer Pure Waste Textiles

The manufacturer is Pure Waste Textiles, headquartered in Helsinki. These hoodies are made in Tiruppur, India, from recycled materials. The concept saves, for example, 99% of the water that would be required to grow new cotton. In addition, carbon dioxide emissions are approximately 50% lower when using recycled materials.

Description

Here’s a cotton hoodie for daily use outside the battlefield. A soldier always has at least one foot in the grave, though, so the back print reflects that spirit: even in death the fight doesn’t end, you still have to wade upstream through the river of the dead while wolves howl around you.

Age Quod Agis

The Latin phrase means "do what you do", as in "Focus on what you’re doing." It’s a phrase encouraging full attention and commitment to the task at hand.

This print hoodie combines Nordic mythology, Finnish sisu, and the gear Varusteleka forges for the Northern conditions. It’s available in two colors, and the prints differ in color as well. Check out the photos!
