Measurements

Sizes in the regular Bunderwehr system, with centimetre sizes up front for clarity (height range / chest girth). When the tag says 185-195 / 6' 1" - 6' 5" for example, we list it as 180-190 / 5' 11" - 6' 3", because the Germans have short sleeves on their shirts. Don't be surprised if the tag on your jacket states it's for a 5 cm / 2" taller person than the sizes we have listed. See the Bundeswehr size charts.

Technical details and instructions

Light, durable military-grade fabric, a mix of cotton and polyester, usually 65/35%.

 Wash at 40 degrees Celsius (104 F).

Description

An excellent German Bundeswehr issue summer shirt. Probably our best selling surplus shirt, and although the prices have steadily gone up, these are still pretty cheap.

This simple German summer service shirt features a snap fastener & zipper closure, velcro adjustment tabs in the cuffs, two breast pockets, and a sleeve pocket. Can be worn either inside or outside of trousers.

Please note that the inventory changes constantly as these are sorted and sold. The numbers in the menu are as up to date as humanely possible, they are directly based on our inventory levels minus confirmed orders. We can't reserve any sizes up front, because we don't know what we'll get. Check it out another day if your desired size isn't in stock. These come and go all the time.

Condition

Used but in nice serviceable condition. These have been washed, so no sweaty & stinky stuff here. Sometimes there's a large "A" stamp somewhere on the garment. This just denotes the article is discarded from the official service.
