The hollow fiber filter lasts up to 1,000 L and the carbon pad up to 200 L, depending on the water quality. Katadyn sells replacement cartridges, carbon pads and silicone mouthpieces, so you can keep using the bottle. The wide mouth is easy to fill from all water sources, and the flip cap keeps the water in the bottle when you don't want it out.

The double-layer Hydrapak SoftFlask is made of TPU and is PVC- and BPA-free. It packs small enough to fit into a pocket. The integrated handle takes a carabiner or a piece of rope. Cleaning the EZ-Clean Membrane is easy and no backflushing or tools are needed. Simply shake or swish the filter in the water.
