When the original Gerber Suspension was updated, the focus shifted from industrial and professional use to everyday carry. The design is slimmer, allowing the tool to fit better in your pocket. Successful features remain: all locking outboard tools and spring-loaded jaws that decrease hand fatigue. New tools include the wire stripper, medium flathead driver, awl, file, and ruler.
