Quick installation guide

Comes with two attachment styles to choose from.

The rotating mount attaches to any 25 mm (1") webbing and does not require a free end. The reel body rotates 360 degrees for freedom of movement. In this configuration, the package is as compact as possible and the Velcro strap bracket can be (permanently) removed.

Using the Velcro strap mount allows the reel to pivot away from the body to maximize freedom of movement and get a slight bit more extension as well. In this configuration, the rotating mount can be removed unless you like to have a stress toy and don't have a Forward Assist Button.

Different tension, same package

We carry two options to cover a wide range of applications.

The 85 g / 3 oz model (5170) is suitable for a small number of keys, a compass, medical shears, small flashlight, and so on. The line extends 92 cm / 36".

The 255 g / 9 oz model (5174) is suitable for a fistful of keys, GPS devices, pocket cameras, and so forth. The line extends 81 cm / 32"
