These stretch, and the cut is roomy. The waistband is two inches larger than the nominal waist size to let it ride lower than the navel. Therefore many people prefer Tactical Jeans with a smaller waist compared to ordinary pants.

So, give the sizing a moment of thought if you want a close fit and want to get it right.

There can be small differences in sizing

Tactical Jeans are made from raw denim fabric, which is washed and dried to the appropriate size. The drying process can vary to some extent, which affects how controlled the shrinkage is. When a new batch is manufactured, a test piece of the raw denim fabric is washed and dried. The final sizing is defined based on the test piece. If the fabric differs from batch to batch, it can affect the sizing to some extent. 

Thus, the pant leg length can be up to 3 cm (1.2") shorter/longer and still be within the normal tolerance. If it is more than that, then it is a manufacturing error.

Materials

The fabric is 57.5% cotton, 31% recycled polyester, 10% recycled cotton, and 1.5% elastane. The blue fabric weighs 430 g/m2 (12.7 oz/yd2) and black 400 g/m2 (11.8 oz/yd). The label on the backside is made from leather.

When stretched, the fabric reveals light-grey fibers within it, giving it a lighter appearance. The black ones, especially, may appear dark grey from a distance.

Care

Machine wash at 40° Celsius (104° F). The color bleeds, so handle the whites and coloreds separately. May crock before the first wash, so don't sit on your grandma's white leather couch before that.
