Technical details and instructions

Material and care

62% merino wool, 36% polyamide, and 2% elastane. The polyamide is added to the mix for wear resistance, and the elastane guarantees a snug fit.

These are made from mulesing-free merino wool!

Made in Finland

These are made in Finland by Sukkamestarit Oy (SOCK MASTERS! Can't go wrong with a name like that!), a very experienced manufacturer and the official sock supplier of the Finnish army.

Want to know where the merino wool comes from?

Our sock provider Sukkamestarit has joined the NATIVA™system, the purpose of which is to be able to trace the merino wool back to individual sheep farms. Because of this, you will also be able to find out where the wool for all our merino wool socks comes from.

The packages have a QR code that you can use to trace the source of the merino wool.

Wash and care

Wash at 40° C (104° F), preferably with the wool cycle. Air dry. You can even mess around with some wool conditioner if you like.

Airing these bad boys regularly will keep them odor-free longer without washing.

Description

You asked for a lightweight, ankle-high merino sock. Here it is, and now you can stock up properly. Pick the pack size that fits your needs: 3, 6, 10, or 12 pairs. The more you get, the less you think about laundry. Simple maths.

These are built for hot weather and high-output days where a full crew sock would just be in the way. Lightweight, low-profile, and made from a material that earns its place in the kit.

Each pair is made from 62% merino wool, 36% polyamide, and 2% elastane at 23.5 micron – fine enough to feel genuinely comfortable against skin, not scratchy. The Y-heel construction keeps the sock seated properly on your foot so you're not fishing it back up from under your arch mid-day. Merino does what merino does: stays warm even when wet, resists odors and dirt better than synthetics, and stays comfortable across a wide temperature range.
