A very simple and versatile accessory for any backpack, or any other PALS-compatible platform for that matter. This accessory is quick to attach and detach and offers a compressible attachment system for various pieces of extra gear you might need to carry. Attachment buckles are sold separately.

No buckles are included with the Beaver Tail, depending on users needs and preferences the buckle setups may vary a lot, here are some examples:
- G-hooks on all six straps
- G-hooks on the side straps, Tri-Glides on the bottom straps
- SR male buckles on the side straps*, Tri-Glides on the bottom straps
- *(QASM or Split Bar female buckles on whatever you are attaching the beaver tail to)
G-hooks are by far the most simple solution as they do not require any counterparts to attach to, a completely self contained system. SR Split Bar and QASM buckles are another good option, quicker to open and easier to use with gloved hands than the G-hooks. Split Bars and QASMs do however leave behind the female buckles on whatever pack, vest or whatever you´ve used the beaver tail with and you might have to pry those loose each time you remove the beaver tail.
