A handy little flamethrower from Primus. You don’t need to have an illegal rave in an abandoned subway tunnel with the Primus Firestarter, but it’s good for lighting your bonfires, barbecues, and other flame-involved projects. This will probably work just fine in cooking also, doing your Crème Brulées, and such.
Features
The manufacturer says the easiest way to light a fire is with great heat and great power. This is by all means true. The advantage of this burner is the intense heat right from the get-go, and you also don’t need to use ecologically dubious hydrocarbons for getting the fire going. There are, of course, more eco-friendly fuel tablets out there, but you’ll have to get those babies burning too! The Primus Firestarter works with the same gas canisters as most backpacking gas stoves (EN417 standard thread).

- Built-in piezo igniter for reliable ignition
- Can be turned upside-down, and using gas in its liquid form, this runs in cold weather also
