Mechanix ColdWork M-Pact Heated with Clim8 Winter Gloves

Due to the insulation, these are pretty snug. One test person who wears the size medium Mechanix Originals found the size Large to be the most comfortable with these.

Because of the heavy insulation and padding, the fingers are thick. So, they’re not usable for shooting or other tasks requiring fine motorics. Mechanix makes gloves specifically designed for those purposes.

The package includes one battery for each glove. Insert the batteries inside the battery compartments and plug into the cord found there. Then you can charge the batteries directly through the gloves.

Once the batteries are hooked up and charged, the clim8® Thermal Technology Heating System automatically turns on when you put your hands inside. The indicator light tells you when the glove is actively heating. With a downloadable app, you can adjust the temperature between 20-35°C (68-95°F). The system regulates the internal temperature based on the body and outside temperatures for optimum hand warmth. Usage, heat settings, and general wear may affect the run time.

These are not flameproof or fire retardant. Don’t expose it to open flames or sparks.

The package includes clear instructions on how to download and use the app. The heating also works without the app, but you cannot adjust the temperature without it.

The app works on iOS 11+ and Android 7+.
