A classic round-neck zippered sweater. These are way handier to use than regular pull-on sweaters and are made of proper thick ol' wool of the itchy yet warm kind. Used but good. The zipper is true metal, no plastic here. Danish army surplus.
These are loaded with nice, practical features, such as armpit ventilation, thumbholes, and rib stitch cuffs. Comes in mental demon-soothing blueish gray.
Made probably of 100% wool but we aren’t 100% sure of this. In any case, it is nice and warm (warmer than cotton and synthetics even when wet). If you need to wash it, it is best to do it gently at 30 degrees Celsius (86 F) with a wool program. Hang to dry. However, it's unlikely you need to wash this too often, as wool is naturally quite anti-bacterial and doesn't get soiled easily. Usually airing out is enough.
The sizes are in the European collared shirt sizes, i.e. the neck circumference in centimeters. Although the neck opening is actually bigger than that. In the brackets, you can see the comparable easy size. These do run a bit large and may have formed to the shape of the last user, so it's impossible to pick a "perfect slim fit". For casual use as a mid-layer, these are quite fine!
The sleeves have thumbholes so they are a bit longer than regular sleeves, some have even stretched a bit further. A Large one fit quite nicely on the 183 cm (6’) tall copywriter with a chest circumference of 116 cm (45.7”). If you have orangutang arms, the shoulder seam might be a bit off in thumbhole use but works nicely in regular use.
Used but not abused so these are in quite a good condition. However, because these are made of stretchy wool, they might be a bit… well stretched. There might be some other signs of use as well. These do come with a slight bittersweet smell of surplus but that can be aired out.
