Use

For the best result, apply a thin layer to the surface and let it dry for approximately 24 hours. The impregnation works immediately, but the full effect is achieved after 24 hours of drying. Post-heating reactivates or strengthens the hydrophobia on all materials. Preheating the material is also good, but not necessary. This stuff doesn’t leave any marks or stains. Any excess liquid can easily be wiped off.

The longevity of the effect depends on the intensity of use and weather conditions. A general rule of thumb is to reapply once a month for garments and shoes, more often with frequent use.

DWR stands for durable water repellant, which is a coating added to the top layer of materials to make them more water- and dirt-repellent. EXPRO DWR is a biodegradable waterproofer, made mostly from natural and renewable ingredients. It is the result of an environmentally focused collaboration between leading Swedish research institutes.

This is a highly effective impregnation liquid that can be used on all materials that can absorb water or get wet. This includes virtually all textile materials such as cotton, polyester, leather, and suede. It performs exceptionally well on textiles, such as polyester, cotton, and blends. For example, tents, packs, and clothing made from these materials. Don’t use this on GTX boots and clothing.
