Varusteleka's Clothing System

Wearing layered clothing for winter and other cooler situations is the way to go.

Wearing layered clothing for winter and other cooler situations is the way to go.

Why layers? Layering helps to regulate your temperature during varying activity levels and weather conditions. And no, you’re not supposed to wear all the layers at once, but to have a proper combination – suited for the weather and your activity level.

What are the layers? Varusteleka Layered Clothing System has 7 layers: Base Layer, Mid Layer, Insulation Layer, Field Wear, Thermal Shell, Waterproof Shell, and Camouflage Layer.

These are quite self-explanatory, but let’s check out the Varusteleka Layered Clothing System in more detail!

L1 Base Layer

Wicks sweat away from the skin to keep you dry. Soft, lightweight, ideal for year-round use.

L2 Mid Layer

Retains warmth while managing moisture. Perfect for layering in cooler conditions.

L3 Insulation Layer

Provides warmth with minimal bulk. Can be worn under field uniforms or outer layers.

L4 Field Wear

Wear/injury resistance and camouflage. Suitable for dynamic field conditions in all seasons.

L5 Thermal Shell

Retains body heat in cold environments. Easily added over field wear when temperatures drop.

L6 Waterproof Shell

Protects against rain, snow, and wind. Two-way zippers for heat management.

L7 Camouflage Layer

Improves visual and NIR camouflage. Can be worn over other layers or gear.
