The size chart also changed in the design update. Read more about the reasons behind the change in this article. The changes are almost solely width-specific. Don’t buy this hoodie based on your old one. Instead, check out the recommended measurements. The cut is still a sporty V shape. The material is very stretchy, so the size selection isn’t precision engineering.

If you are tall and don't use thumbholes, the Regular length is suitable for people up to 190 cm (6' 3").

The size charts below show the actual garment measurements. The widths are measured laid flat, e.g., the chest width is from armpit to armpit. The front and back lengths are measured from the bottom of the hood, and the sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam.

Materials

The new hoodie has more merino wool than the previous ones. The fabric is a bit thinner but also more durable because polyester is in the mix. Thanks to the better abrasion resistance, we have been able to leave out the cuff reinforcements.

• Fabric weight: 320 g/m2
• Material: interlock weave blend of 87% merino wool, 12% recycled polyester, and 1% elastane
• Pocket bag material 100% recycled polyamide 170 g/m2
• Abrasion resistance: The new material improves abrasion resistance a lot. However, Merino wool isn't a work clothing material, so don't wear this hoodie when repairing your car or doing heavy construction work.

Care

Merino wool doesn't absorb nasty odors easily, so you don't have to wash it that often. If you have to wash this, do it gently using a wool cycle. For a complete, thorough washing process, we have some pretty nice solutions for wool, like these two:

• Sonett olive laundry liquid for wool and silk 1 L
• Sonett wool care 300 ml

Note! We recommend washing the hoodie before taking it into use because some color may transfer from the product before the first wash. 

Mulesing-free! Our merino wool clothes and accessories are all made from mulesing-free merino wool. This is a good thing. We bet you wouldn’t want anyone to rip you a new one.
