Notes on installation

To keep the construction more simple and durable, the claw is fixed and slides onto the rail either from the front or rear. Once the sight is in position, a crossbolt locks it into the chosen Picatinny slot and tightens the grip to keep it zeroed. You'll need a 1/8" allen key or something flat for tightening the crossbolt but don't overdo it!

The sight must be mounted on the same plane as the receiver rail to achieve zero. This won't happen with MOE handguards with accessory rails on top, so that's a no-go. Another no-go-thing are railed gas blocks because of heat issues.

Elevation adjustment

One click is a quarter (1/4) of a turn and your setting is retained by a detent. The effect of one click is roughly as follows:

  • 1.6 MOA (48 mm / 100 m or 1.68" / 100 yd) with the sight radius of a 14.5" carbine
  • 1.2 MOA (35 mm / 100 m or 1.26" / 100 yd) with the sight radius of a 20" rifle

The included leaflet says the adjustment range is fine for rifles but you could run into issues trying to zero a pistol-caliber carbine to longer distances due to the snowball-like trajectory. Savvy in trigonometry and ballistics as we are, we think you can overcome this by mounting the front and rear sights closer to each other. It's not like your PCC is very accurate and frankly, you're probably no marksman, either.

An elevation adjustment tool is included, but most aftermarket A2 front sight adjustment tools may be used as well.
