Description

This French V-neck pullover is of a typical European design. It's tough to say who copied who, but we think the roots of this style are British. The woolly pully features a CCE camo pattern to emphasize that this is not something you wear in the office.

  • Reinforced shoulders and elbows
  • Snug fit
  • Material: 60 % Wool, 40 % Acrylic

You often see name tags and pencil pockets on army shirts and pullovers. Not on this one, though! Friends are recognized by smell when you're operating in the woods, and you can use a bullet if a signature is required.

The rib knit allows the width to stretch as necessary. The folding cuffs make the wrist areas thicker, but tall people may want to leave these extended.

Is this genuine French surplus?

These were sold to us as surplus. Even though you shouldn't blindly believe everything the Germans say, their statements about the French are often accurate. However, we haven't been able to confirm when this model was issued or if it was issued at all. Long story short: it's anyone's guess.

We can say for sure that it's a woolly pully with a camo pattern, and for a pretty decent price, too. These are new, most usually in factory plastics.
