Description

A handy belt clip for the older, Cold War era Bundeswehr combat belt. It also works with many other belts. Locks in place with a simple mechanism; it's the stuff the East Germans could only dream of with their "Plaste und Elaste" style gear!

Features

Officially these were used to attach the Bundeswehr Y-suspenders to the old canvas belt. These loops typically would be used in sets of 3-5 pcs per soldier depending on whether you would use the G3 magazine pouches or not. These fit on any belt less than 45 mm (1.77”) wide. Well, the opening is exactly 50 mm (1.97”) wide, so with very little violence, you can go up to that as well. The inside width of the metal loop is 20 mm 1.8”), so these are very handy for hanging all kinds of manly man articles from your belt.

Note that the locking mechanism can leave a little press mark on your belt. After talking about the manly man articles above, this feels a bit insignificant though.

Condition

Used West German military surplus, in perfectly serviceable condition. These are very difficult to wear out in use, so according to the marketing laws we shouldn't even be selling these.
