JNA Reisetasche, Olive Drab, Überschuss

Yugoslav made, Serbian army surplus. A smallish, tubular sack with zipper closure hidden under a protective lid. Used.

The bag is about 55 cm long and 30 cm wide. Unless fastened to a rucksack, this can only be carried with the provided nylon carrying handles. The handles are made so that the bag can be slung on the shoulder too. Also works as a stuff sack for a large sleeping bag.

These have a few variations, here are some examples:

• Most have zippers, some do not. If not, the bag is closed with Lift-the-Dot fasteners (pictured). If there is a zipper, the securing flap may also have velcro instead of the Lift-the-Dots.
• The material is mostly water repellent cotton, but some bags are made of nylon or rubberized stuff.
