Wash and care

Wool wash in 40° C / 104° F. Don't leave it in a wet lump after washing. Reshape it gently while still damp. We suggest using wool conditioner, though it is not mandatory.

This kind of thin merino wool is not as durable as cotton or synthetic fibers. So violently ripping them off of your body is not the best for their longevity. A heavy ruck sack and shoulder straps grinding into the material will cause damage to the wool in time. Keeping these in mind will make sure your clothes serve you a long time. Don't worry though, they are easily durable enough to handle the rigors of everyday life.

Merino wool, the best wool in the world

Merino wool is a fantastic choice for next-to-skin wear; most notably it feels good against the skin and retains its insulating properties even when soaking wet. So it's like regular wool, but better. Oh, and did we already mention how nice it feels?

Our merino wool undershirt is a fairly standard round neck type, with non-chafing seams, long enough hem and form fit. For those concerned, these don't itch either, but rather form a second skin.

These are moisture-wicking, dry fast, and are self-rinsing. They are also machine-washable, but washing is usually unnecessary - wool cleans itself. When not in use, air them out and give them a good shake after that. You only need to wash the clothes if you see stains or they start to smell really bad. This usually requires lots of continuous use without airing.
