Measurements

Measure your size at the height where you wear your pants. For a normal build, these fit comfortably just below the navel. For a more portly frame, these might be more comfortable to wear under the beach ball. Consider this when measuring: don't include your gut if you don't wear your pants over it./p>

Technical details and instructions

Materials

Made from ripstop-reinforced 65/35% recycled polyester/organic cotton. Light enough to be very airy and comfy, but probably about as strong as a bit thicker 100% cotton ripstop.

Exception: the Tigerstripes are made from 65% recycled polyester and 35% organic cotton (plain weave 210 g/m2 without ripstop).

Exception 2: The fabric in the black cargo pants has slight stretch and consists of the following: 65% recycled polyester, 32% organic cotton, and 3% elastane.

Care

Wash at 30 degrees Celsius (86 F). Some color may transfer from the product before the first wash.

Description

Lightweight, practical, and comfy cargo pants with an excellent cut. Because we had these made in huge volumes, the end price could be kept very reasonable.

In short, despite the nice practical features, these are pretty no-frills pants for everyday use and work in warmer weather. With long johns, we see no problem wearing them during the colder months, either.

Features

A high waist, at least compared to modern standards. It's just slightly higher at the back. This is welcome news for any gentleman who likes to tuck his shirt in, but also suits the barbarian whose unsightly butt crack would otherwise probably show when sitting.
Cut designed for ease of movement.
Reinforced seat and knees. The knee reinforcements accept knee pad inserts, we recommend the CPE elbow/knee pad inserts.
Button fly.
5 cm / 2" wide belt loops, these are large enough for real belts.
Drawcord tightening at the cuffs, button adjustment at the waist.

Pockets

Large, bellowed cargo pockets with velcro closure. The back of the flap is sewn on the leg to prevent it from getting dog-eared. However, as a nice bonus, these do not stand out much when empty.
Standard slash pockets. These are pretty much like in many jeans, slightly more on the front side.
A "smartphone pocket" on the front.
