Measurements

The sizes mean the maximum distance between the suspender clips from the back to the front. So, measure your size with a measuring tape drawn from the back of the waist, over the shoulder, and down to the front. Very simple. These suspenders can be adjusted to a much shorter length, of course.

Materials

The straps are made from 64 % recycled polyester and 36 % elastane. The recycled polyester is made in Italy from plastic bottles using the Newlife™ production method.

Recycled polyester is similar to new polyester qualitywise, but the production process takes a lot less energy. It reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 32 percent, water by 94 percent, and energy by 64 percent .

The classic suspenders can only be used when your pants have buttons for them. These clip-on suspenders come into play when they don’t. The sturdy clips are like the Finnish musical taste, pure metal. Full metal clips are a lot more durable than the flimsy ones containing plastic.

These suspenders have the Key Flag symbol, which is awarded to products made in Finland.

XYZ of suspenders

Which back type is superior? Some people claim to have the answer; we think it's a matter of preference. Do note some things, though: The Y-model suspenders are more straightforward and forgiving. However, if your pants have a belt loop smack in the center back, you'll have to compromise the perfect suspender clip symmetry. The H- and X-model suspenders are attached with four clips, so they offer better support overall.
